It is used for various applications such as pH correction, introduction of phosphates into
water and reduction of corrosion in water mains and is commonly sold as an 85% solution. It is a Class 8 dangerous good and has a fairly high specific gravity of approx. 1.7.
Phosphoric Acid is a good source of nutrient in DAF’s and other enzyme base systems that require pH adjustment.
