Citric Acid is a very mild acid which passivates steel very slowly and lightly descales particles on various surfaces. It is used for various applications such as pH correction and cleaning of membranes and filtration media. Citric Acid is not classed as dangerous goods and is safe to handle.
Citric Acid can be supplied in a solution form or an anhydrous powder. Solutions are common at 50% but can be made to suit if required.
